Grapes, beautiful jewel greens you’ve painted here. Love them all.
This little snowman has been part of our Christmas for many years. Watercolour in my sketchbook.
Very cute snowman!
This was a wreath we were given in our 20s. It’s made out of those work socks that are gray with the white and red stripes around the top.
And a gingerbread Christmas ornament on the tree.
Thanks. Some of my first.
I can’t remember which member it was on that forum that got the reindeer wreath. It was my favourite that year. She let me know her husband saw it and moaned. He hates those socks. She was polite and thanked me, but I don’t think she liked it in particular. Which was a bummer. At that point in time I didn’t know the members who were participating very well. So I just sent each different card randomly. And hoped the subject would be enjoyed. The only exception was that church painting. I did ask then and in the future when I had anything with a religious theme, if people preferred a non religious subject. Which was totally fine.
PaintBoss, it's almost impossible to guess what kind of present the other likes! I do like it a lot! Also the idea is clever, I think. Thanks for showing it and the story behind.
I post Christmas Gnomes next and the first one is a candle, actually. One of my newest gnomes. Painted with gouache on my sketchbook paper,
Good job on gnomes -they’re so cute. Well, you did a good job. I like seeing the comparison to the object itself in your studio.
Thanks for your comments as well regarding my reindeer wreath. I like, it I’m pleased with how it turned out. I always smile looking at it.
It’s a simple card for an exchange a few years ago.
Christine and Grapes, your gnomes are really cute! I have to force myself to pass them by in the stores because I know that I could never have just one. They seem happier in groups!
