Outside of examples I make for my students (Preschool-8th Grade) I don’t work anywhere near fast enough to turn out a Christmas painting on short notice. I did turn out a painting that one might see as Halloween themed some years back. I spent nearly every evening after school and 8 hours+ on the weekends for about a month… but this was back before they piled so many more expectations on teachers… even Art teachers. I had the Halloween painting hung in the house from early October until Thanksgiving… when I had the time to take it down and put up our tree. I joked at the time that one day I’ll need to churn out a Christmas themed work… but not this year.
