Scavenger Hunt from Life #151: Mar 03 - Mar 11

Hi everyone.

Grapes, your icebreakers are super and in oil!

Ai, fun cat toy and the face guard. you lines are descriptive and lively. The shelf is perfect. Your food with the shrimp and leaves made me so hungry and I've a while to lunch.....

I sketched yesterday morning. In the large Conda sketchbook, half page, Micron 03
Number 1, bow

Vivien, thank you. I had the same reaction to that tv interview.

Jo, thanks so much.

Fletch, thanks. I still need to study cars closer. They are a work in progress. :)

Grapes, thank you. Impressive job on the ice breakers. You captured the feel of their large, heavy mass so well.

Ai, love all the cat-related sketches from the cat cafe! Thanks. Your food sketch looks so tempting. Nice!!

Yesterday I drove a friend to the hospital for her cataract surgery. I knew I had a few hours before I had to pick her up. I headed over to a bagel store for breakfast and found a cute spot to sketch inside.
8 - indigo (coffee urns) - watercolors and ink

Here's the actual view.

I sketched a few of the customers waiting for their orders. These can count as the start of my 1 Week 100 People. I'm not sure I will reach 100 in a week this year.
10 - casual clothing - ink
11 - hat

Joan - your scenes always make me think "i want to be there!"
Grapes - i like the icebreakers but ice? nope, don't want to be there!
Jo - sweet bow!
Ai - great cats - bummer for the one in the "cone-of-shame" - and now i'm hungry for shrimp!

went to another garden center today
stood in the corner near a cart of begonias juggling near-empty fountain pens (yeah, my bad planning) and a waterbrush

and then i got out a chair, pencil, eraser, and a touch of colored pencil...

Stephanie, thank you! I still find little bit of ice here and there. Excellent begonias painting. The mug sure has interesting mushroom shape handle. 👍

Jo, beautiful drawing of a ribbon 🎀 and thank you for commenting.

Joan, excellent ppl and bike + bagel shop. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks Grapes, and everyone, for your kind words.

Joan: Beautiful and exciting bagel shop sketch. Cute people sketch too... your line inks seem quick but effective to illustrated them.

Stephanie: Thanks for sharing the plant view to us... I love plants. Cute jug.

Jo: Beautiful big ribbon in lines. I would have tough time, how to do the curve texture, you did well.

Stephanie, thanks so much. I'm glad to see you were out sketching. You did a great job on the begonias even if you didn't plan well with your pens. Nice shading on that coffee carafe! I'm almost ready to go get a cup!

Ai, thanks. I haven't fully committed to doing the 100 people challenge. I've been too busy to go looking for people and I like doing them live.
