Welcome to the Scavenger Hunts from Life. I am doing a bare bones introduction for this hunt because I am in my iPad and not a computer.

Each object you draw can be for only one item on the list.
Each sketch must be from life.
More than one item may be in a sketch and can be counted as individual items.
Do as many or as few of the items as you like.
If you have sketches completed, but little time to read or post, please post your sketches anyway. Commenting is nice, but not mandatory.

Joan, thank you for a new list!

While waiting for an apple pie cooking in the oven early on the Saturday morning I managed to make a small HB drawing on my sketch book .. finally drawing from life. 😊 Drawing time: maybe couple of hours.

#1 Something to sit on - "A Florentine Gnome 😁 sitting on a pavement".
#2 Building - Bargello in Florence.

Do you think this gnome is the official Bargello Guard? 🤔 😁

Joan - Thsnkd for jumping in
Ai - Yum Yum Yum. Even your drawn ones look delicious. We lost our local Krispy Kreme to one of last year’s hurricanes. ☹️
Grapes - Great range of tones. Don’t know if is the official guard but the way it has its hand certainly looks possessive.

🤞🏽🤞🏽hoping..make that planning to draw more this Hunt.

Keep sketching

Ai, those donuts look so good! Love the Halloween theme.

Grapes, what a cute gnome sitting on the pavement. Hope he isn’t too uncomfortable. I like how your dark shading makes him stand out.

Ned, hi!

Fletch, glad to jump in.

Ned, thank you! 😊 That gnome model sure sits with style.
Fletch, thank you! 👍 I keep my fingers 🤞 crossed.
Joan, thank you for commenting! Stunning pleinaire work from you today! Both of them are very unique. I like them a lot!

#3 Related to travel - souvenir from Florence.

Model: Bell tower - Duomo - Ponte Vecchio. All stuck to the same unite, very compact I would say.

Fletch, Ned, Joan: Thank you so much.

Joan and Grapes: Awesome artworks...all brought me back to enchanting and vibrant Italy memoir.

Thanks, Joan, for the list. All well as can be. Go home Friday with home health and home therapy. See if i have any time for sketching. Will try a couple before then. Hugs all around. Ummm doughnuts.

Joan - love the arch in wall and colorful buildings

Grapes - Again a beautiful range of tones The dark darks really give it dimension. Nicely drawn chess piece. In drawing with model they almost look like they are standing together.

Ai - Nicely rendered. A fun souvenir

Jo - thoughts and prayers are with Gene, you and the family.

#1-foliage - pen and ink in 9x12in sketchbook. No shading as want to try some light washes for color. Crossing fingers again as it is 70lb drawing paper not watercolor paper. Completely screwed up perspective on right side of table I stopped and obviously got the wrong angle.

Grapes, Grazie! That’s one compact souvenir of Florence. Great job on all the details!

Ai, glad everyone is still enjoying seeing Venice. Love the gondola opener…fun and useful.

Jo, glad to hear you guys are heading home soon. Hope it won’t be too much for you. (Hugs!) All the best!

Fletch, thanks! How is your leg doing??? With the hurricane I lost track of what the result was. Nice sketch of the still life and table. Wouldn’t have noticed the problem with the table if you hadn’t mentioned it. Hope you show us how it turns out with the watercolor added. Hope it doesn’t buckle too much for you.

All: Thanks for your kind support.

Joan: Wowza... amazing details on those things Italian... love the scarf shops with people walking by. The restaurant with awning with server and tourist checking out the shop is so fantastic. Beautiful orange in digi with bright happy blue bowl.

Fletch: Nice lines on the plant and pot and shelf. Can't wait to see your wc added.

Grapes: The metal chess piece sketch is awesome, nice shading.

Ai, thanks. Digital drawings are so frustrating for me. This next sketch probably took about 45 minutes. I need to watch some Procreate videos to help me.

I was up early this morning and tackled this.
