Thanks Wayne. The encouragement here is helping a lot. I've been here about 6 weeks now, drawing every day so it's interesting the changes that can happen especially with YouTube tutorials to assist us.

For sure, your coloring is really good for where you were and once you get the 3d volume (depth and distance} down your drawings will morph once again. Keep at, you have an eye for it.

Yep. I am interested in keeping on learning and I also think related to 3d volume, graduating to more of my own drawings without tutorials in time (and understanding depth and distance and drawing myself). Thank you It's nice to enjoy something and feel some progress too but mainly a lovely pastime.

I did this yesterday inspired by st.aftercigs.. I had a bit of a tricky meeting with a family member over the weekend and really stood my ground with something (conflict management isn't something I love (but who does?) ).. the energy of the cats I think matched how proud of myself I felt after lol!

Slowing down on my art production a little. Had a bereavement about 4 months ago and this has been really healing to dive into recently but need to give myself a little grace with my health and going back to work in Oct. So I'll post more irregularly but continue to enjoy this journey...

Thanks Donna! Your support is really appreciated. I'm a bit weird sometimes where I create stress and obligation for myself for no reason lol something I'm working on as it doesn't help chronic pain (obvs ). This is all a good journey in having fun.
