All 9 x 12 inches .. acrylic on paper .. alla prima ..
I have my heavy body paints but my medium is still out in nowhere land but I use my old cheap ass dollar store paints and combine them with the heavy body paints which I will do in future. It's fun to play and when you can play at minimal expense it's even more fun as I can eat as well. 😂 So much for solid plane painting I end up painting like me and that should not surprise me as I am who I am.

All are good but I’m partial to the second one. Love the light in it. We can only paint who we are. No matter how much we experiment our style come through.

I am in agreement. All lovely but that second one captures my heart.

Thank you Sanlynn and Jade. The second has more finish. I messed the table shadows in proximity of the vase but only important if I were selling. I must be more diligent though as it’s a bad habit t rush and accept what isn’t quite finish.

I notice I want to rush when drawing sometimes too. It's good to catch yourself isn't it? but I wouldn't have noticed that myself in your painting, I think because the light on the flowers drew me in.
Ps - yes for saving money and eating as well! 😁

I'm so glad to see you enjoying your acrylics - and for continuing to produce such lovely work. Yay!!

I like all of them. I can see the more polished effort in the 2nd one, but I really like the geometric lines and blazing blues in the first. And I'll always be a sucker for a crooked old wooden chair. ;) I like that pop of green against the background.

Keep 'em coming! ❤️

You finally got your paints! These are so good, Wayne, and I’m glad you’re using up the cheap paints too. It’s fun to mix them around. I read somewhere that airbrush medium works well as a regular medium but I haven’t tried it yet.

Thank you Terri. I like the comp in the first as well. It allows roaming.

Thanks Donna.
I went and bought a few more trays of the cheapies. 24 colors for 4.95. Really saves on a lot of mixing and in an art store I’m sure each tube would be over the price I paid for 24 tubes. They work and that’s all I care about.

These are all great. I'm also partial to the first and second ones. I'm so impressed how well you're doing with acrylics. It makes me wonder if I could ever use them myself. But I don't think I can control them as you have, and in such a short amount of time! ♥️
