Thanks for hosting with great images. I did the following
A4 graphite horses, A4 ac on colored board

Excellent work, Christel. I love the dogs, particularly. Great use of colour for their coats.

Patricia, I love your horses. They have such a feeling of motion and gracefulness.

I love the dog too. That hint of reflection under him hints at the wet sand.

Christel, beautiful horses. I like how you softened and faded the one in the back so our attention is drawn to the one in the foreground.

Your first dog is so colorful and expressive. I love the eyes. I love the second dog and the serene expression. The black background really sets it off.

Penny, your donkey is delightful and brought a smile. The mix of watercolor and colored pencil was very effective here.

Here's my animal of the month. This is ink and inktense. I tried putting down the colors dry and then adding water but it didn't give me the control I like in fine tuning the color mixing. I have a small set that gives quite a variety when mixed but I think it's better to shave some off and mix it first with water so I can see exactly what I'm going to get.

This is done in my XL Mix Media sketchbook, about 5" x 6".
