Jane, thanks again for hosting. I just started the sea turtle.

Well, nothing like waiting until the last minute! Again, I was ready to bin this until Jerry encouraged me to push forward. This is a watercolor, 11 x 8, on Hahnemühle Collection 140 CP. There is a more pronounced gradation from light to dark in the BG in the original.

Christel's stunning and varied works will be missed. I am in bits over her death. She always posted something in this challenge.

Lovely work on your turtle. I like how you did the background. I like how you handled the white "lines" too.
