New Sennelier oil pastel broke top bit.

Even before most recent heatwave here in EU started, my new bought Sennelier oil pastel broke. I do not even apply pressure using these, push the bit back into wrapper hoping it stay stuk together. I write to customer service Sennelier in english but no answer yet, 1 was approx month ago. I know french but have not written in french in decades hence the english. I notice the one it happen to , it seems bit oily and crayon itself was softer when it arrive and open box.One other is similar but degree of softer bit less soft. Both are pale colors.

Pale pink madder lake and Chromium green light. It is the 5 set Rose in Bloom.

Those are beautiful colors!

A quick solution would be to simply roll the whole thing together, in its wrapper - and pop it into the refrigerator.

Sennelier OPs are the softest ones out there, which is generally fine. What you described sounds like it got compromised in shipping- likely overheated. It doesn't take much with these.

Hopefully you'll get a response from the company, but if you want to move ahead with your work, get that thing back in shape and chill it in the fridge.
