I can’t remember whether I have posted my drawing of Louis before and hope you enjoy seeing it and the work-in-progress photos. Polychromos coloured pencils on paper. It was quite daunting to think of how many marks it might take to complete the drawing.

Thanks for the progress shots, Penny; it's nice to see how you brought Louis to life with colored pencils. Outstanding work!

You must have the patience of Job. this is wonderful. The way you capture the shine on the noses of your dogs always impresses me.

Thank you very much, Joy. I appreciate your comments.

I am usually quite quick using coloured pencils, but this did take some time. I could only face a little each day. 🙂

Super portrait! ❤️❤️ Glad to see the progress shots, it is always good to see how another artist works. (y)

Thank you very much, snoball. I, too, like seeing work in progress And often prefer a work in an unfinished state.

You're amazing! This shows incredible skill. I love seeing your work in progress pics - the build-up here is so interesting, as well as your attention to detail.

Terrific work, Penny!!

Thanks very much, Artyczar. I’m pleased you like it, even if it’s for the second time. 😎
