i love your "adventurous" ink strokes! i got frustrated using those white gel pens. if you dip the tip in water then scribble, sometimes you can get them going again. now, i just use some white acrylic ink and a dip pen. seems more opaque than the gel pens.

I also as colors I bought a box with gouache gadot, the white is in a tube, I tried the colors but I did not open the tube, something that I have to try also pens are comfortable.

can I ask one thing, since Monday afternoon I have flu symptoms, probably from catching a cold that day, so stuffy nose, sore throat and head, no fever,
an hour ago, the bathroom door opens and closes with difficulty, I was a little dazed and I slammed it,
without blood it can be fractured, no blood comes out, it seems a little swollen, it seems more difficult to breathe but already having these symptoms,
maybe it is deviated but maybe it has been since I was little, maybe for many years it is a bit crooked, (and maybe up high it is strange, if you look closely, like a hunchback for wearing glasses,) but there may have been at least a couple of trauma as a child or a kid, besides it is long, which is why ..., I hope it didn't break, I don't think it was crack, bump yes, there is hump, swelling on the right side, side that I bumped, towards the nostril ,

until Friday morning I don't have a pass or a car to go to the emergency room, maybe what to do after impact, but I don't think so, I hope it's broken and maybe after last year and a half if I'm not urged it seems bad to go there, then here too in previous years full, but I would not feel and until Friday I really can not go there, looking at my nose what also embarrasses me which is one of the things that already normally caused me embarrassment since I was a boy. headache and nosebleed seem to me to be more but perhaps not much.

Even if you are feeling better, I urge you strongly to consult a doctor as soon as possible, just to be sure there isn't anything that needs medical attention.
Joe - Great to see your sketches with your new indigo pencil. That's one of my favourite colours, too. Very nice work with the hair in both portraits - your skill with your lines is really improving.
I hope you're able to access some medical care - a doctor will be able to check you over and make sure you're getting the right treatment. I broke my nose last year and it was pretty painful, so I'm sending you lots of sympathy. Look after yourself and feel better soon.

White gel pens are hit and miss. I bought a "really good" one from an art supply website and it was trash, hardly could get anything to come out and it was so watery and weak when it did that it was hard to see anything. The one I have now is "uni-ball signo" I got it from a stationers on a whim. Much cheaper than my expensive trash one and works great. I've been using it for many of my inktober drawings. The pen is only good for small details though. Your white gouache would be a good option with a brush! I'd like to try that myself now!

when I looked for white pens, undecided by price, I bought mine in a pack of 3. I hadn't thought about uniposca then, I remember now that decades ago my brother had some and they wrote everywhere and very well. I remembered now, of these pens more than pens.

pencil, in the picture the result looks better, however happy to have done it and the result.

who does amazing things with pencil, almost only hb, incredible, but I don’t know if I can learn a little about it,
the shape, I started with colored pencil, then switched to hb, the colored pencil I can’t delete it, this one, graphite pencil erases, I was at the beginning so I had to delete, then I tried to work on shading, true that hb can darken a lot by pressing, so in the end I continued with this one, which is a brand that I really like (derwetn sketching, they sell hb, 2b and 4b that I bought a couple of times in boxes with them 3) and I above all have hb, which I had used more of the 2b and 4b, so I tried this drawing, I think it is possible to go darker and that I can use other pencils anyway,
