last things and other things.

What I like most of your sketches is that you are not aiming for pretty but for character. Very good job.

, 2 tires from life and faces from photos.

first 2 pages in pencil.
in the last sheet, the first were in pen, the first 2 fineliners and then bic , the last is graphite.

These are great Joe, you might try lightening up on the shading a little. It doesn't take too many lines to suggest the form. Well done, keep going. (y) :giggle:

Snoball, thank you, glad you like them, and thank you very much for the advice, which I must try to follow,
especially on the girl they seem exaggerated, too many lines.

thanks .
hi, yesterday i saw the animated short, If Anything Happens I Love You

it is very beautiful, done well, the drawings and nimations are beautiful and the story is very moving, what can I say, I think you may like it,
later I looked for reviews and above all I read an interview, the authors cited an animated short that won the Oscar which also looks fantastic, they reported links that I marked. link on youtube

anyway after seeing it If Anything Happens I Love You I thought I'd see it again, in doing so I then tried to try a couple of images, this sheet.

I made faces with a pen, and tried again the figures, 3 figures, the first I had done first in pencil and then with the marker (directly I found it more difficult), but perhaps I messed up in remarking.

Then I made one with a pen and one with a thin pencil.

Great practice run again Joe. I like the Indian and the old lady with glasses and Shreck is very recognizable. (y) ❤️

hi ,
I made these (I retried figures this time) from croqui photos, about 2 hours and 30, about 3,
the first started in pencil, the others in pen, the first longer, others of varying duration, some long.
