Joe, this was a tough one because of that left eye. Great sketch strokes for the fur and overall proportions.

Joe, you are getting better. I find cats very difficult. I agree with Sanlynn that the eye on our left is too large. The rest of it is well done.

Sanlynn, great job on the cat. I love how you just featured the face and fade out to nothing. That left eye was quite a challenge.

I decided to do the Greater Rhea (what a name). About 5"x7" in XL Mixed Media sketchbook, ink and watercolor.

I did start something, but it turned out to be such a mess I binned it.

Joe, Sandra, good job with difficult subject.
Anne, he looks very cranky! Don't mess with him - his fave show was just cancelled. :p
Christel, very nice contrast - is this on a toned paper or board? OPs?

Beautiful Christel. I love the variety of colors in his coat.

Joy, I enjoyed your comment. :) He is not a happy camper!

What a wonderful selection of photos! Wish I had time to participate. Everyone is doing great so far.💖

Wonderful work on the chimpanzee, Christel!
Great sketches, Joe! Love the raccoon.
