9 x 12 inches .. oil on papper .. alla prima .. painted Aug 21/24
Using 9 x 12 now as the pad of 11 x 14 went from 19 to 54 dollars since covid .. that is just robbery. I do have a few 11 x 14 on order but after that I will downsize .. either that or quit .. eat or paint ... starving artist .. no wonder with the gouging in this place called earth. That's my rant for the day ...
.. been trying to do something to get flowers more abstracted or personalized but I just keep going in circles .. hopefully Sept will enhance my mind when the abstract challenge his the spark and creativity gets a glimmer of light.

There’s a lot to like about this one, Wayne. The way the light moves across the vase and flowers is so well done and the blues and yellows are beautiful together. I know everything is expensive but you have to find a way to keep painting. It’s like oxygen: you need it!
