Pinehurst

Soo many Apartments going up. This one is about 4 years old.

After I finished painting I realized there was a shady spot I could have set up at and avoided all the problems with the sun.

I simplified the snot of this and shortened the building to 5 sections from 6.

the block in:

I turned around and there was this girl who'd been watching me paint the whole time. She asked about the "little bucket"? I told her it was for washing brushes. ( should have said, "It's a tip jar" but didn't think of it.)

Too bad you didn't think of it in time: "It's a top jar. Large bills only."

I love this one, and you did that thing again where you put in bright "spot" colors in an otherwise muted palette, which always makes the work exciting and special.

My first thought was to tell her the "little bucket" is a funeral urn with ashes of my dead muse." But then who could my muse be- Tinker Bell?
