New Sketch Book

I started a new sketch book today as my existing one is all filled up. These are 5.5 x 8 inches 90lb vellum finish, acid free & archival made by Strathmore. It takes washes quite well with hardly any buckling.

Thanks Donna T - I was quite surprised as I wet the paper b4 starting - I think the vellum finish on the paper surface has a positive impact

Another beauty! Love your palette here.

I too am surprised by the nice texture on this 90 pound vellum Strathmore. I've used their Bristol vellum with oil pastels and not been happy with it. Sounds like a different medium is in order!

Can't wait to watch you fill this one up!
