Hi all. Here is a painting I finished last night. "Meeting of Elements" is an acrylic on canvas. 82 x 145 cm / 32,3 × 57 inches.
My love for landscape and nature paintings is growing by the day. For several years I have mainly been painting figurative works (https://johanneswessmark.se/original-paintings) but I am honestly a little tired of naked women and feel I want to paint more landscapes this coming year. I hope you like it

It is a mixed media. Acrylic 90% and colored pencils. I was hoping to maybe reach a broader audience by posting in a different forum. Do whatever you think is best. To be honest, I am so fuck... tired of struggling to be seen. I belong to the world elite but that doesn't help a shit. I am still almost unknown and without money. I regret I became an artist. A very bad way of trying to make a living. Sorry, but this is what my heart is feeling right now. Ok, let me say this: Anyone who can help me sell my art can keep 50%. No joke! I am 62 and so tired of this

I'm sorry you're struggling to be seen.

You were right to post this here, I was unaware of the colored pencils, which does make this a mixed media piece. No problem!

Johannes, please try not to fret. I understand, and most of us here understand what you're feeling. Unfortunately, this is what most artists have to go through unless they become stars. Even when selling, the sales are far and few in between. It's a hard occupation. Many of us here are not young, either. We support you. It's okay to talk and vent.

Hi Johannes, I took some time and headed over to your website. It's a wealth of unbelievably beautiful artworks.
All I can say is, there must be a market in high end luxury destinations for such work.
I feel somewhat ashamed to post my here works in comparison.
