I haven't colored them since in the last two weeks I've been trying again to learn how to draw animals by reviewing my book and then anatomy. months ago I said that I thought I was mainly doing caricatures of people but then I started trying drawing again of animals also to avoid the painting part of the coloring of the caricatures which I think is the most important phase but it is complicated but not talking about procreate I'm afraid I don't understand them well not being able to go step by step. I was thinking about digital to try again shading, shading, I have some manuals or links that I like like ctrl, in my attempts with digital for 5 or 6 years I got confused with commands with different names for different language or program. these are digital drawings but trying like with paper or just commands i know, sometimes erase or zoom.

Hi Joe, I haven't been over here for a while and you've been really busy. I love seeing the freedom you are finding in your sketching, it shows that you are gaining confidence. These are very nice sketches. ❤️

Snoball, thanks a lot, I'm glad you like them and that you think this. Best wishes to you and to all for a happy Easter

i drew this. there is also a black and white and a colored attempt by Roger Federer.
Rogerer Feder and Caravaggio are the first artists who have rekindled my passion for art and drawing.

I tried to draw Roger Federer for the first time. I started following tennis, watching matches on TV or PC for him, seen many of his matches for 15 years or more, perhaps he has rekindled my interest in art is tennis, but he was poetry and art on the tennis court, they called him the master, rightly so.
many years ago my brother had given me a little book, by David Foster Wallace, tennis as a religious experience, an essay on Roger Federer, unfortunately he passed away prematurely, he saw Roger Federer play for a short time but he appreciated it for immediately , perhaps more than anyone else and told it in the best way.

I've been trying to try other brushes for coloring or digital drawing, for drawing, for color yet I haven't found a choice that I think is better or easier to use.
for drawing I like to use the soft graphite pencil type (the others I find more difficult to use or I feel like scratching the screen, so in the end I use a few to try to learn them or because I feel better, for coloring I would like some learn a couple, this seems easier to use and not scratchy but a strange result, not very solid, too digital .. ), the one for monkeys or animals that I posted before. I've tried brushes in procreate and various free sets from various artists.
Caravaggio and then the drawings of the masters were the first things I began to admire but now there are so many artists and genres that I admire. I said about Federer for the beauty and elegance of his tennis, which, I know it's tennis, but those sensations that make me admire drawings and paintings previously I think I saw them watching his matches.
