Dan in the Happy Place

This is very small at 6 x 6 inches, oil on clayboard. I sold it since I sold that watercolor to a repeat collector who may also have seen it on Instagram. He drove out here from LA to pick it up while we stayed six feet away from each other. It was funny, but we had a nice visit. He promised to buy one more, about the same size, but you know how these things go. He may. He may not.

I love looking at these and trying to figure them out. On this one I wonder about the striped "word bubble". Also the little hidden face in the blue. Well done Arty.
