Concrete Bird Feeder – Update 2024-02-03 - The Realistic Half of the Head

After an almost 2 month pause in the work on my concrete bird feeder, I have completed the half-realistic, half-abstract life size head element. Here is the head as designed in my 3D software:

I just need to do a bit of finishing, but thought it would be a good time to show some photos after the long hiatus.

I am showing it it from a few different angles, because I think the photos are interesting in their own right. They also show the embedded anchoring plates for the connector rods quite clearly. The flat part of the concrete is 20 mm thick. The head part is hollow inside.
