5.5x7” oil on paper.
This was a quick little oil painting that was supposed to be for the weekly art event but I got side tracked and a month later I had this. All together and took about 2hrs of actual painting.

Nice rendering of the bottle. Adding a shadow underneath
will keep it anchored to the surface.

Thank you. You are correct and I completely forgot about the shadow.
I’ll add it in yet before I take it off the easel.

I love the green on this and you did great with the reflections! Well done. :)
Thanks. The bottle is Phthalo green mixed with cadmium yellow pale and some titanium white in the highlights.

It's beautiful! Lovely to look at. I agree that all it needs is some grounding there, and you can call it done. Very nice work!

Hello 16ga
The centre of the bottle should be the center on the top and on the bottom. That is science. However your coloring is so interesting that takes a moment. Not crucial as it's only a painting but geometry is in each soul so it will not look right if the perspective isn't through out. As noted, a little shadow goes a long way. Real nice clean color.

Yes, it is a great bottle bit does need grounding with a shadow and it is a bit wonky. But is a nice bottle painting and reads transparent very well. ❤️
