No, thankfully, this one is due Jan. 22nd.

Well I got that one finished and now have to start wasting paint on a lady's great grandchildren. I know there will be a lot of paint drying on the palette because I won't be able to paint very long at a time. Not sure how many portraits this will consist of, I've seen two of them so far. We are still working on the details.

Some of you may remember the drawing for this. Since I've been putting up my show of a totally different variety, I've had to take a super long hiatus from this series of family photos. I've put tiny amounts of work into this over the last few months. Plus, I haven't been painting lately due to building a dog run, exhaustion, the show programming, and getting my dog settled in. I'm hoping to get back to this piece as soon as I'm able. Lots of work on this to go yet.

Looking forward to seeing this one all done Arty. Even if it’s a little at a time, fitting a little bit in while you can will get you there. You have been super busy. What’s your schedule like for 2025. And how’s it going with your furry family member?

Messing the ground layer up fighting for the construction of the composition somewhat. Hopefully it turns out.

Thank you, sno and Christine. 2025 is going to be comparatively mellow, hahaha! I'm in a couple of shows out of state and have already shipped the work.

Ruby the dog is settling in pretty well. She is still learning the doggie door, which has been difficult because of the kind of door it is, I think. I don't know if we're making progress. We tried something yesterday that set us back a bit. Oh well. Onward.

Oh yes, Ayin, it was. They always are, but after I get one coat on the canvas the fun can begin. I enjoy working on them after that.
