Beksiński was my first introduction to surreal horror art. I definitely take quite a bit of inspiration from this style. Not so much the gore, but the sinking feeling of uneasiness. It's hypnotising.

Thank you! The artist's full name is Zdzisław Beksiński, unfortunately, he died tragically in 2005. His art still "haunts" us today, and I was lucky to see it live. A truly unique experience!!
