Actually, more than a portrait, it is half a portrait, speaking properly, and it is not even in portrait format. Hope it fits.

Gosh Kay you captured that so well with such simplicity. I would have overworked that.
This was 5x7” I think, and my reference photos showed yellow in the clouds! That surprised me. I took this photo a few years ago close to where I grew up.

Hope this counts. After black, my favorite color is purple. I got the pretty amethyst mineral watercolor from Daniel Smith a while back and tried it out on this piece for the background. Please excuse the terrible perspective on that leaf. Not my best work!
