working on this project for YouTube and I wanted to change a still photo that's a ".jeg file to a video format ".mp4 file. All that should happen is when you click on the .jpeg you see the still image, when you click on the .mp4 you see the still image but it plays for 5 seconds.

So here's the photo

Creativespark won't let you post .mp4 files - but this is what happened when I clicked on the .mp4 file --- the two guys continued walking off the frame, once they were off a third guy entered from the right and walked across!! I didn't know it at the time but I was using an AI app to change the file formats. I didn't give any prompt or anything, just asked to change the file format from .jpeg to ,mp4 and it invented the rest

So I tried another still image to see what it would do

so this is the still image - in the video, the guy on the right takes a bite and starts chewing his food, looks to the guy on the left, a waitress comes out of the doorway with a tray of drinks And you see the people in window talking and eating!!!

I wish I could show the .mp4 it will blow your mind. Just using CAPCUT - a free video editing program. Only took a few seconds to generate the videos. So if you have some family photos you should try this it will blow your mind.

As still images, these are so intriguing. I love them both, as they have good narratives and color.

Sorry that you/we can't post mp4s. It's already so very expensive to host all the images at CreativeSpark. If you have them hosted somewhere else, please post a link!

Bongo , it is quite amazing. I didn’t think it would create more characters coming into the frame. I thought it would be more like those YouTube videos where they show historical portraits of famous people and what they would look like today. And the head/ eyes/smile move, but to a limited degree. That was cool in itself. I always thought it would be a little weird if you saw a deceased relative moving around. Especially when they have photos of a person with a closed of smile and all of a sudden they smile and they’re showing teeth and creating what they think would be there. But what happens if these people don’t have very good teeth, for example. Or they smirk to the side when they smile. All the things that make a person individual. And I think it would look so in authentic. So contrived. I do think it’s a little freaky because it’s getting so good. It’s starting to fool people. We used to always know what was real and obviously not real. There’s still a lot of AI that to me, looks close. But there’s just something that’s a little fake looking. Maybe it’s a lighting or the perfect features or something. But then I’ve seen others that you would think those people were there, doing that action or saying whatever is being said. Which of course has implications. Creatively though, it’s very cool. I guess for me overall I prefer to have a clear delineation of what’s real and not real for the viewer.

Very cool. Not totally AI but not totally real. Mixed reality. Amazing what the tool of AI is already doing.
