I'm not sure where this came from but earlier this week I woke up super-early and was listening to Farming Today on the BBC (trying to get back to sleep, almost never fails), except this time they were talking about growing strawberries vertically and artificially indoors in the UK in winter, so I guess it made its way into my subconscious. Next: more choice

Martin, that last painting was made in oil on panel with paper collage (the "patches") and sewing pins. The middle is a pile of tiny cuttings from the paper I use for these paintings.
