This is an older piece, but it's in a little 2-person show I have going on right now, so I thought I'd share it. It's made with oils and coffee stains, and some pencil, 16 x 20 on canvas.

Oils, coffee stains and pencil - what an interesting combination! I'm sure there's a personal significance to the figures as well as the pencil marks in the background but I can sure relate to the family group; people and their precious pets. This is so cool!

Interesting! I love the cat, who seems to be the only unequivocally happy sitter in this portrait. The coffee made great effect for that look of a wall of an abandoned or neglected house, or simply an old piece of homework. Yeah, like others have said, there's a story to this painting.

This is great! Pretty sure that's your father and you, and the coffee stains swirling around the little scene only gives another dimension. So artistic - your deceptively simple compositions are your superpower! ❤️
