Yesterday I went out looking for colorful autumn trees but all I could find were scenes with the autumn golden greens in the trees and grasses. This is always a nice spot to paint and since it was really windy outside the fact that I could pull right up and have a great view from my car was a bonus.

Very nice Joan. Love the shadows and the reflection in the water.

You do such nice plein air work! This looks unmistakably like autumn.

I'm loving those yellowy greens. Nice sense of movement, too. Good one, Joan!

I like the freshness of this

I like your bold approach with WC. Do you use a combination of brush shapes, rounds, flats, filberts, ?

Claudia, Terri, Murray, Bongo, Triduana, and P. Barrie, thanks so much for your comments.

P. Barrie, I mostly use rounds and once in a while a dagger brush.
