I had a scrap piece of poorly cut hardboard laying around with oddball dimensions and some leftover pieces from a frame I was making - so I made a scrap-abstraction out of it--

Scrapstrat - acrylic on 19.25" x 13.5"panel - mounted in custom-built 1.5" deep plywood floater frame.

Gee whizz. Sherbert dip. I didn't know crack came in visual form. There again, I do not move around in those kind of circles :D anymore.

I particularly like the one directly above.
 
These are all nice. Perhaps you have coined a new word!
scrapstract - not to be confused with crapstract. I had about a week fling with "process abstracts" - pours, spins, strings, etc. I found it's just not how I want to spend my time and materials. - not-that-there's-anything-wrong-with-it.
