Joan & Ned : Such an awesome start of this Hunt. Have a good time at the beach and have a great trip for Ned.

Robin: Thanks for the list.

#1 Up -- view out of Tone's office on 6th floor...overlooking the disappearing green space of Bangkok west- side..the far distance is Bangkok city rim....directwatercolor...yes.. Tone is lucky as his building grows bougainvillea on the balcony.

Joan, great start. I really like the water. The beach is good, too, nice movement in both the water and grasses.

Ned, uh oh. You did a super job on the perspective of the plane. Applause. Have fun on the trip and safe travels.

Ai, pretty view and bougainvillea. You captured the "feel" so well. I like the different greens and the far buildings.

Ned, I like the head on view of the plane. Nice!!! I find that for safety's sake it is safer to wrap any pens or brushes that contain ink in a paper towel and keep them in a zip-lock bag. I find that fountain pens are really prone to leaking. Thanks for your comment.

Ai, thanks. Nice view from Tone's office balcony. I like how you handled the cityscape.

Jo, thanks. It was windier than I expected so as soon as I was finished with the sketch I moved to a place that was sheltered from the wind.

Ned, thanks so much.

Joan, fortunately the water brushes were in a little ziploc but the ink still managed to spill out into the rest of my kit a little bit... it would have been a disaster without the ziplock bag. I think if they had also been in a paper towel there wouldn't have been any mess at all. I'll definitely do that on the way home!

2. Looking down the Hudson River at the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge from a place called Poets Walk.
