Fletch, the funny thing is even with so many sketchers, I hardly saw anyone else until we met at the end of the day. The museum is so spread out that you don't notice there are other sketchers around. Thanks for you comments. Your WIP is really coming out nice. You will probably have to find a few places in the foreground for darks...and a few darker (not too dark) tree trunks over on the left so that a few will stand out more like the ones on the right. I'm sure you know what you're doing and plan on working on it more.

Joan and Fletch: The cat cafe have many tables: some are low tables (like Japanese kind, where we sit on the floor); some are regular tables where we sit on chairs. Basically, we can sit and observe/play/pet/give them treats to any cats in the cafe as much as we want. As long as we treat them gentle with kindness. My friends and I went in the cafe, each order a drink and this cafe let us sit for a long time, without charging extra fee. Yes, some cats nap all the time we were there; some cats run around and jump often from some toy towers to another tower. Some cat nap and wake up and walk to greet each visitor. So in all, each cat has its own personality but since they are there every day, I guess the cats get used to being pet or touch or hug by visitors. I just observe them, sketch them, and pet a few of them. I can't hold them. I don't know how... I was afraid as I had a few cat scratches in my childhood when I saw them at my relative homes. The great thing is this Cat Cafe is super clean; they ask each visitor to clean your hand with alcohol gel before touching any cat. There are many air filter/purifier running so I don't smell or sneeze at all. The cafe is also double as cat grooming facility too. There are cat toy stations installed on many spots on the wall.

Ai, thanks. I like the answer to Joan about which came first. I wondered, too. Oh, clever find for fluffy. The sketch tells a great story even if it was quick. Thanks for the photos.
Joan, thanks. I think there is so much traffic at that intersection, at least I will blame my inattention to that.
Robin, fun finds for the fluffy and gifts .... and lifts. Really beautiful hatching as always. I'm smiling. Thank you, interesting they had the long grass clumps by each cactus plant and one big rock.
Fletch, The barn in the snow is beautiful. Joan's ideas are good. I hope all is well, you guys really had some cold weather. Robin and Joan, too. Ours is in spurts. We might get freezing rain this weekend. Hope not. Today was nice for me day out sketching.
In the Ohuhu Mix media sketchbook with the Ohuhu 03 and watercolors. The cashier at Jalisco's wanted my card, liked the sketch. Lunch was great. I bought someone elses lunch today to pay it forward for the other time someone bought my lunch. They must not of had drinks as the lunch for 3 was just a little more than mine. Ha. When I left I saw the mowers at Tractor Supply and quickly sketched them. I was due to pick up groceries soon. They are remodeling our store and it is a mess so we order online and pick them up. It is a nice service.
Number 4 round - bowl and plate
Number 5 overlap - tortilla chips
Number 6 large machine - lawn mowers
