method:
Eyes closed for background in response to thoughts in my head and transcribed using shorthand
Acrylic and some collage for self portrait....all on a grocery bag.

I never learned short hand so not sure if it says anything but it looks good.

It says a lot but they are private thoughts. I figure there are probably only 6 other people in the entire world who still know shorthand, so my random thoughts will remain private.

You're probably right, shorthand is a lost art now.

My wife was an excellent shorthand stenographer, and I think her old Gregg manual may still be laying around someplace.

If I find it, I can be pursuaded, with money, not to post the translation of your thoughts.

Love it! I have a lot of stream-of-consciousness scribbling in much of my work. It's not shorthand, but I can read a little bit because my mom was fluent in it and she taught me a little bit. I am thrilled about being a bit of an inspiration. This is very expressive, which I love. Lovely piece.
