The last one of my recent New Forest series. This one is of the car park when we arrived at about 11, looking towards the small stone monument recording the accidental killing of William 2nd in a hunting accident back in 1100.
C&C Appreciated, Thanks for looking. Arnie

Absolutely LOVE! How you spotted all the trees are gorgeous. The light is so pleasing to the eye and the hint of lavender on the ground is breathtaking. Really. ♥️ ♥️ ♥️

Gotta tell ya that the New Forest is one of those gems hidden in plain sight in the UK. I loved the place. Only regret is that on one trip I didn't fulfill my idea to train down to it with my mountain bike for a few days of wandering. One lovely, gentle and interesting area. Wild but not wild at all. And all those ponies!

Such beautiful light in this, Arnie! The leaves are glowing and glittering in front of that gorgeous deep blue sky. Beautiful painting!

That's really nice Arnie but I have to give you one little dig. Sorry, but I just can't help myself. The yellow in the clearing in the distant field is pretty much the same intensity and color as the yellow leaves in the frontal trees. If you were to lower the intensity and perhaps a 1/2 value it would push the field back and bring the trees forward. Really love the interaction of the colors. Very impressionistic.

Makes me want to go and paint some trees. Yours are wonderful..

Thanks Ayin, Bartc, Queen Bee, Donna, Jo, Wayne, and Jenniejo - much appreciated.
Arnie.

Good suggestion Wayne. Thanks Arnie

I love how looking through the lower leaves at the sunlit patches across the way looks so realistic. Just as I would expect if I were right there. Beautiful! ❤️❤️

I like what you've achieved, but particularly on the ground, It is quite unusual and striking. I would never that thought to use lavender but it works really well.

Beautifully done Arnie, that sky really compliments the full autumnal palette of the leaves and nice touch with the subtle shadowing.
An excellent piece!!!

John :)
