Thanks Wayne. I was in two minds about the fg pony, I need to revisit it. The problem with sticking animals in as the centre of interest (coi) - they must work.
The brown one is not quite right but passes .. the white one is really off but all you have to do is change the title to New Forest and then no one will be looking for a pony and it could pass as an animal .. easy fix
That’s a beautiful fall landscape, Arnie. I would be tempted to crop off a little of the sky but that’s just me. I agree with Wayne about a few little tweaks to the ponies.

I really love the second rendition. The horses seemed way more defined. That really does a lot for the overall piece. And there's a certain contrast in the whole painting that makes it all the more appealing. Beautiful work!
Arnie.... great job on this piece. Beautiful contrasts and loving the revisions on the horses...I knew it appeared to be just some slight tweaks needed.
It is a very peaceful, appealing scene.... just super!!
