I don't know if I'm posting in the right place,
but I'm trying to find the artist of this illustration. I found it on pinterest but there's no way of tracing it (I tried reverse searching on google image, nothing).

There's a guy who does YouTube vids on illustrators. Maybe he knows. Peter Beard, I think.

No help at all, but this reminds me of an old woodblock print, possible illustration for a story book.

It looks like a woodblock or linoleum block print. Stylistically, it reminds me of some modern French and Japanese artists.

I also think it's from a book. I have a feeling it's by a Russian artist...I don't know why
