Thanks Bart. I feel less restricted with flowers so it’s a good subject for my approach to art.Always love your still life flowers, Wayne. Probably your use of brighter tones.
Thank you Donna. I do like the start and hopefully it will spark the imagination and I will get expressively eye catching. People paint for all kinds of reasons but I find I’m happy when I get eye candy. You’re off to a good start, Wayne. Nice one!
Hope I don't let you down ..Beautiful as always. We will look forward to a month of great paintings.
Thank you Sno ….These are both exquisite
Thank you Donna. I think my main goal is to achieve different emotions with different colors.I like the subdued golds in the second one as much as the vibrant yellows in the first.
That’s a great goal, Wayne. You obviously can say “flowers” so well but to be able to say “ joyful flowers” or “quiet, thoughtful flowers” is another thing (which I think you are already quite skilled at doing.). I imagine you will enjoy seeing how different colors create different emotions.Thank you Donna. I think my main goal is to achieve different emotions with different colors.
.. thank you Hermes. .. that’s a well felt comment by me. if I won a lottery there would be some huge paintings looking for a home.Eye candy is a good way to describe your paintings.
