Hi Folks, I'm not so happy with it as I overworked it, and couldn't get the sea right. It was very calm water but still masking the colours.
Main thing it got me out and about. Trying out my Heath Robinson outdoor easel. Pleinair with Senneliers on Pastelmat, about 17x28cm.

I think this came out beautiful! The movement of the water is awesome! ❤️
Thanks Caliann, I struggled and I know its overworked, the scene is more relaxed. The PA was useful to get aquainted with the scene.and I will do a studio piece.

Looks very good to me, Murray. What a beautiful day you captured. Is the new easel specifically for pastels?

Doesn't look overworked to me either! I love the perspective and composition. I really like it 🙂

I love your shading of the blues near the rocks. That, and wonderful water movement and reflections. Doesn't look overworked, though Pastelmat can be challenging IMO, with its special texture.

Glad you got out and used your new outdoor easel!

This is beautiful and looks fresh to me. I'm so happy someone is out painting. We are finally getting out of the 90s so maybe....... Thanks for sharing.
