Phthalo blue is strong stuff, and indeed difficult to handle, but it has the advantage of being cheap. I'd be terrified to use lapis lazuli.
This is definitely my family. I have some relatives who watch and listen to nothing but those media outlets that would make FOX News look like it was on the far-left. Several of them are all into the Qanon nonsense. My wife is spending the entire next week with one of these families. I'm going to have to pick up a couple of fifths of booze for when she comes home.
But maybe that is also the way I drive a car. That's not how you pronounce Gogh.
You know you are pronouncing it correctly when you produce spittle like a Gatling gun sprays bullets.
Btw, never pronounce it in public during a pandemic.
I am dutch (though I don't live there anymore), and believe me, you can't pronounce it correctly, please don't try...That's not how you pronounce Gogh.

No worries, all taken in good fun. And yes it's a very throaty sound.Oops! Please forgive my cheap joke. I believe it is pronounced from the throat, similarly to the scottish Loch.
This pose reminds me so much of a Maxfield Parish painting, but I couldn't find it. It's probably just of a similar time. Beautiful!
