Nicely done! I think I tried five times to plein air paint there. Only one ever amounted to anything. I love the Daks. Problem now seems to be that too many do also. I solo backpacked the great range and Mt Marcy years ago and the top must have had fifty people on it. After being alone for so much of the trail it was a shock. Nevertheless some friends and I get up there every year and kayak camp on the lakes there. Last year we rented a cabin on Lake Adirondack since we are getting ummmm older. And we can afford it now.
