Made this for commission so it’s already signed and dated going to cut the canvas better before sending. Couldn’t get a good photo. Missing everyone here! Have been offline almost a month.

I don't see it as sad. There energy in what I see

My next commission is painting someone’s boat, and I was going to do a huge 10ft maybe by 5ft rectangular commission (colabarating [spelled that wrong] with another artist) of my neighborhood along the river with peoples boats and houses for a couple who lives a block over, but my colaberater cut the canvas by 8ft on accident so we have this huge peice of canvas idk what to do with, maybe we should buy more, or maybe we should abandon the project. I haven’t made up my mind, but it’s looking like it won’t get completed.

The image worked itself out by driving in a convertible with the top down and seeing things above me as closer to me then objects in the distance.

I don't see this as sad - your shapes are dynamic and the whole thing has a great sense of movement. I like the bold feeling of it. Nice job - I'm sure your client will love it.
