The stalk stands out, could almost be a yucca bloom. My yuccas are getting ready to bloom.

Same with the Yuccas down here, sno.

I took artistic liberties with the mullein stalk to emphasize how it stood out so unexpectedly; but I welcomed it.

We are lousy with Yuccas here.

Considering our recent rainfall here, I think we are about to find out if Yuccas bloom underwater.

We haven't had much/any rain this spring. Been bummed. Last year was great. We are yucca central.
