Stlukesguild, that IS freezing
We had couple of weeks ago 1 F (-17 °C) and now 14 F (-10 °C) so I can tolerate that but not going out much with my asthma.
Brian, you have summer ?![]()

Indeed. After an unusually cool and wet early summer, the heat is beginning to set in. I'm almost envious of StLukes. Almost.

. It’s a balmy 12° now but predicted to be colder. Maybe another day off (as well as today) due to weather. They are predicting 10-20° below-zero wind-chill. Dealing with the weather by staying in my library and listening to music and making hearty meals. We’ll have a big breakfast today and the left-over Pasta Fagiole soup from last night. We were under a state of emergency all of yesterday and I couldn’t help but roll my eyes
at the clowns who were complaining that all the grocery stores were closed because they were out of groceries. This storm had been predicted in the news and media for nearly a week. I went shopping with my wife Friday evening after work picking up enough food for a week.
I looked at the 10-15” of snow down the length of the driveway and just shook my head and went back inside. I’m simply hoping for another snow day tomorrow so that I can shovel out slowly. I’ll already be taking Wednesday off in order to stay with my wife during her scheduled cataract surgery.
