Village on the sea - again

Hi folks. It was a nice afternoon so to the beach for a swim. Took my small pastel box. Rembrandt's on sanded Sennelier card, 2.5x3.5 inches. The angle is a bit different, but same scene, different light every time. The swim and drawing helped lift the spirits.
Camera has picked up on the texture a bit.

Your pastel is 10 times the actual size on my monitor -- and it still looks good. I can't imagine making a 2.5 x 3.5 with this much detail and skill - with all the gradations, etc..

I love this texture! You're lucky the camera can help show it off, as I find it challenging to photograph at times.

Such wonderful details in this small painting - terrific job!

Thanks Bongo, Terri and Jo. The harder Rembrandt's help with finer lines, and the size makes me try to keep close to the right proportions.
