Undeserving BS

I think you should write out "Pollock" a hundred times.

I know you think that's a load of Pollocks.

:)

My defense is that I like eating Alaskan pollack fish, which if it's caught in another place is pollock.

Yeah, as difficult as abstract can be sometimes I still prefer it over pop art. I guess pop art is still a thing though. Seems like Jeff Koons is doing OK with it. If doing OK means being ultra wealthy. :)

Yes, he is crazy rich. He hardly touches his own work. He has a lot of elves. It's weird and something of a controversy.

I had never noticed this thread. Interesting discussion. I love abstract art. I do consider myself abstract at times ( in my head for sure), although I can work on structured images that tell a story.I am so happy when I can pack a punch with fewer lines . It brings me immense joy, ecstasy like feeling. I appreciate realism and especially hyper realism too. It represents a talent that I don’t have.
I can easily compare abstract and non abstract painting to music. A well written song or musical piece, classical or not and jazz for Instance. It is all good to me.
My two grams…

I will read everything later! 😊
