On one of our motorcycle trips we went to a riverboat festival on the Ohio river. Adjacent to the Muskingam river is a museum of riverboat history and artifacts. Docked along side the museum is a sternwheel riverboat that you can tour. Being a model maker and artist I purchased the drawings for the boat and years later decided to build a model. The model wasn't of the boat at the museum but another from a book I had read. It was a boat operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the 20's and 30's After building the model I decided to make a painting of the boat. It's water color and is 16 x 24 inches. The scene was made up from my mind with old reference pictures of the draw bridge.

Wow great job! Excellent watercolor. Not the easiest medium to work with. I tend to overwork it. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

I ride also. I have a Hardly Davidson. A Honda CTX 700 :)

I thought I had commented on this, but don't see it. This is just super. Love it. ❤️ ❤️
