Turn In The Road

... the process I have been leaning on is wearing thin and so I find myself turning in approach .. less paint over paint and bigger areas of values seem to come to mind for the next one .. this one was just a type of salvage job as the painting came and went so many times I lost track of it all.

Thank you Donna, moscatel, and Ayin. This one I worked to get it back. Had it, lost it, had it, and on and on. I do like the background as it reminds me of dried mud that made interesting things with it being almost clay like. The knife is my weapon of choice.

Thank you Sanlynn. At that moment I find I have few ideas how to start a piece to make it unique as it’s all in the ending. However, I do think the degree of uniqueness is determined by the start.
