Next: the one that got away!

Well, that’s an awesome painting Sno! When I said the one that got away, I meant the painting that may not have got completely finished, but you thought had good qualities about it, etc. But you nailed that literally with the fish! Lol
Yes, I also would like to know what you mean by some get rained out too pls.

WOW 😲 Sno 👏 👏 😍Is it oil colors? 🐟
No, it is actually ink colored scratchboard. And thanks, Grapes. Thank you, Ayin and thank you, PaintBoss. ❤️ Arty, I was thinking of games that get rained out. Any activity that could be called due to rain, even a picnic.

That’s adorable Sanlynn!
I did a small painting one night for the water media challenge for October. And I couldn’t believe it, but there actually was yellow reflected in the clouds in my photo! There was no photo editing.
Next: a different style than you usually paint.

Ooooh TK , those flowers are gorgeous! ❤️
I don’t think I’ve heard of charcoal paints.
This is a Christmas card I made with my niece in it from a photo and I decided I’d try the busy, sweet, cosy style.

Arty, I really like how you choose to convey ideas or struggles, state of mind in visual form.
This is a large abstract I did called Night Vision. This was jewel toned in the sunlight. It had a lot of depth like going down into the sea. Hard to capture on camera. Acrylic.

Here's some beetles I did a while ago when experimenting with watercolor layering techniques. I was using "The Laws Guide to Nature Drawing and Journaling" by John Muir Laws. I copied the beetles in the book, using some of the techniques he wrote about for capturing different textures on insects.

Thank you very much Christine. I love this piece of yours as well! ♥️

Here's a sketch of some peppers. Done with brush pens and colored pencils. For some reason when I did it, I didn't think to put shadows underneath.

Next - something done with a medium you don't normally use/a medium you've never used before.
