Some of my sculpture 2 updated

How exceptional and fascinating! Most of CS will be "tuned in" to see your work space and products. Thanks so much for "inviting" us in. Any and all information and photos would be most welcome. You must have a relatively large home in a rural area, as we do. So often retired people choose to "downsize", but I could never live in a wee apartment. Our basement has a full gym, and a level up has a split family room, one part of which is an aerobics room with a TV, treadmill and bike. My studio is in the smallest bedroom with our computer desk, and we also have a separate office for bookcases, filing cabinet, and a desk. Plus in various areas the storage we need for archery and shooting equipment. Since we have four distinct seasons, our closets have a large amount of clothing, etc. for different weather conditions, and our garage a fair amount of tools. In fact, we just got a new snow blower this season.

Yes, we do have a large house in a rural area. We bought 50 acres of land and built our house and various outbuildings.
I'm like you - I could never live in a small house or apartment.

Here's a few photos of of some of my sculpture tools.
Cheers

I'm continuing work on 'Wisdom'
I started it years ago. Sculpted in clay with the intention of making a mold
to cast a wax which will then be cast in bronze using the lost wax casting method.
Well, I made a mold of the face and cast a wax.......and didn't get back to it for several years !
When I took another look at it , it had dried out and crumbled beyond repair.....sigh .
So, I'm making another one . I've placed the wax face on a lump of clay and am
sculpting the back of the head, the neck and shoulders. Then I'll make molds of them, cast
them in wax and join them to the face wax. Followed by final detail work on the face wax
and casting in one of the permanent casting materials that I have here [and hopefully
eventually in bronze ]
Cheers
Patricia
