Ha, Joan. That is so easy to overlook things. Great job and I love the flag as you know.

Robin, the keys are great I see the old fashioned one.

Off to PT....

Robin, lol I had to chuckle that the keys are old fashioned. I guess they are since so many things are now locked and unlocked thru our phones (not mine). Always glad to see your sketches.

Jo, missing things in my sketches seems to be a recurring thing. lol

Robin - Love the keys especially the skeleton key which use to be so common.

Joan - you add not missing things in your sketches you are subconsciously using artistic license. It’s all how you look at it. Fir example I have gray hair but Sharon has platinum highlights.

Waiting on plumber so may get something sketched. Had to cancel PT.

Keep sketching and learning
Fletch

Fletch, there are some things I leave out purposely, but some things just get lost as I splash around the paint. That's what happened with the American flag...and it needed it. Luckily I carry a tube of white gouache which pretty much covered for the white stripes. The red ones weren't a problem. Nice digital of the hand which I assume is holding the side of your laptop/iPad.

Yesterday I sketched the beach shack at Islip Beach.
11 - trees - watercolors
12 - humans

Today my plein air group met for the first time for the season...yay! This was done at Vanderzalm Greenhouses. It still needs a bit of work.

12 - free space - watercolors

Wonderful sketches...

Fletch - great job on the hands....the first one is so lifelike....good go on the digie!

Jo C - the little sketch at car rental place has a nice atmosphere....Clever name for the dog care shop

Joan - your pieces are, like Ai said, Superb!!!!

Ai - love your test sketches....

It is glorious how each drawing/painting shares in the moment. Thanks Friends for posting and commenting. You all bring that special something here.

Fletch: Thanks. Cool digi hand.

Joan: Thanks.... Wow za on both the vivid beach shack and the flowers in a nursery.

Robin & all:
Thanks.

Well, it is almost ending of May 14, here in Thailand. Thanks Ned for hosting.

Thanks all. We are back at the hospital in Austin. Gene is OK waiting the long delay to get cleared to leave. I did a bad sketch and will try to post from phone.

Jo: Nice sketch but a bit scary. I hope Gene will have a speedy recovery and you two are in good spirit.
