Jo - collection still growing but has slowed substantially. One or two a year now. Here’s part of her moose collection.

Ai - neat dream catcher.

Joan - The flower garden is pretty but the Ronkonkoma station is super. Love it.
We have stuffed animals in every room of the house. A short hall to den and bath even has some (9) hanging in a 3 tiered basket on the wall.

#3 hanging - Pretty quick sketch in the pocket sketchbooK. Used HB and 2B graphite..

Joan - your sketch IS fantastic...you nailed it....great use of the white spaces..so nice with the tables of flowers backed up with the gently white greenhouse and vent....then the smooth horizontal roof line is the perfect contrast with shadowie underbelly and strolling sillhoettes......

Ai - the dream catcher has a ticklish quality....I hope I get to laugh in my dreams, it doesn't happen often but I love the feeling....

Fletch - oooh, grand relief!!!!....I'm not an odd ball now!!! I don't have alot of stuffed animals but I love to have one placed here and there....love that herd of moose.... Nice pocket sketch. Your pocket sketches always look much larger....The sketch of the moose is so textured. He looks like he gets cuddled alot and is not sure what to think about it!

Fletch, thanks. I love the collection of moose and the basket in the hall filled with stuffed animals. Nice work on the hanging light...better to see the animals.

10 - makes a sound (waves) - watercolors

#14 I have lots of .... a) seashells or coral...I picked them up from walking on the beach (done with 12B pencil) b) souvenir spoons I bought from my time in the USA. (2B pencil) c) bottles... I meant to repurpose them to carry water for my sketching field trip... I end up with at least 30 kinds of water bottles or small jars alike.

Tomorrow, I will go take a 4 hour pastel class with a wonderful Thai art instructor that I have admired. I hope I learn something good... hehehe. @Jo, I am thinking of you. I wish I could do pastel along your side.

At the end of my hike I had a few minutes before I had to go pick up my daughter. So this was a timed sketch. 13 minutes!

Hello folks...next week, Wednesday, We are taking the girls to see Grandma in Atlanta for a week. I would like to send my art postcard to each of you , the regular Hunters, from there, if you leave me your US mailing address in the message box. Hey, Ned! Ooooh, what a great find for mailbox. You nailed it. We watched most of the Congressional Baseball Game. There were a couple of super plays from the old guys. Didn't watch the CWS today, maybe tomorrow to watch LSU, our last family team. Our Kentucky bunch all went to school in Louisville but don't care about the teams much.

Joan, your Fantastic Garden is fantastic, too. The train station with the sloped roof and silhouettes is amazing. You rock watercolors!! The direct one on the beach is great. Lots of movement.

Ai, what a fun dreamcatcher. Nice gift from a friend. Love your collection of shells, great drawings. The spoons and bottles have such nice flowing shapes. Have fun in Atlanta!!

Fletch, love the moose collection and what fun to hang on the wall. Your lamp is interesting and well done.
